La animación japonesa irrumpe con fuerza en este año 2007 para hacerse no sólo con el premio a la mejor película, sino al mejor director, en la figura de Satoshi Kon y al mejor guión. No es cualquier cosa… Sin ser un año excepcional para el cine asiático, tampoco ha sido un año terrible, como todo parecía aventurar… El cine chino ha demostrado una cierta vitalidad (colocando al último Zhang Yimou en los premios técnicos y dejando a Ang Lee a las puertas de casi todo) y el resto de países nos han ido ofreciendo obras de lo más interesantes, incluidas las llegadas de lugares como Filipinas y Singapur, que reivindican su presencia en el panorama continental…
No, el 2007 no ha sido un año para olvidar… y estos premios ofrecen un buen número de pistas (y más que se quedaron fuera) para demostrar que hay más cine asiático después de unos años en los que todo valía y la esperanza en un futuro mejor, que pasará por una búsqueda más intensa…

Un director de animación tiene un arduo trabajo para conseguir que toda una serie de elementos u departamentos (montaje, creación de personajes, diseño, color, guión, etc..) tenga sentido y además acabe con el prejuicio de hacer una película de menor rango que una real… Paprika tiene mucha calidad y está cargada de genialidad por todas partes y era justo que SATOSHI KON también estuviese reconocido en estos, nuestros premios Allzine, como mejor director. Y guión jejeej
El cine coreano está viniendo un tanto flojo. Secret sunshine está muy bien, pero la de Park Chan-wook y la de Kim Ki-duk más bien son películas menores de grandes directores. Hace 2 o 3 años hubiesen habido 3 obras maestras surcoreanas
Buf…creo que estoy solo, pero a mi tanto Flash Point como Mad Detective me parecieron un espanto…
Jajajaja.
Bueno D, Flash Point tampoco es que tenga mucha representación aqui… Hay que reconocer tiene unas bien curiosas coreografias de acción, aunque el Yen abuse de los agarres y demás (y esta el tema del doble, pero bueno ajajaja).
En cuanto a Mad Detective… No dire que me parezca una película excepcional, pero si una buena película.. y Lau Ching Wan me gusto en su sobreactuación.
En fín, que sobre gustos ya se sabe, pero siempre nos quedará que Pokiri esta ahí ¿no? 😉
