El pasado día 5 de junio celebró en Corea del Sur la gala de entrega de premios de la quincuagésimo sexta edición de los Baeksang Arts Award, organizados por el grupo editorial IS PLUS Corp. Conocidos coloquialmente como los “Golden Globe” coreanos, premian lo mejor del pasado año no solo en el ámbito cinematográfico, sino también en lo referente a Dramas televisivos y programas de entretenimiento, siendo esta última faceta la que despierta mayor interés del público local. En el aspecto cinematográfico la cosa estaba más bien clara y el Gran Premio ha sido para Bong Joon-Ho por Parasite, que también se ha llevado el galardón a mejor película. Por su parte el premio a mejor directora ha sido para Kim Bo-ra por su aclamada House of Hummingbird.
