El pasado sábado se concedían los Taipei Golden Horse Awards, los principales premios concedidos en Taiwán y uno de los más prestigiosos en idioma chino, aunque ahora hayan perdido un poco su carácter general debido al boicot del gobierno de la República Popular. Este año los premios han estado muy repartidos llevándose el galardón a mejor película el drama Stonewalling, mientras que el premio a mejor dirección ha sido para Hsiao Ya-chuan por Old Fox, que ha sido la cinta más premiada reconociendo la actuación de Akio Chen como mejor actor de reparto y diversas categorías técnicas.
