El conocido festival coreano JIFF, Jeonju International Film Festival, finaliza hoy mismo, después de haber dejado unos días con lo mejor del panorama cinematográfico coreano e internacional. A continuación presentaré parte de las películas y secciones que se podrán disfrutar en él.

Además de todo esto se puede disfrutar de una retrospectiva sobre Jerzy Skolimowski, la sección Stranger Than Cinema y proyecciones especiales dentro de Cinemascape dedicadas al cine Palestino, selección de cintas made in Jeonju y las secciones de cine internacional y asiático.
Los cortometrajes tienen un lugar destacado en este festival. Secciones como Short Short Short, Korean Short Animation o la Semana de los Críticos englobada dentro de los Korean Shorts son claros ejemplos.
El “Jeonju Digital Project 2009” vuelve a asia a celebrar el decimo aniversario del festival y reune a 3 de los grandes realizadores del continente, Naomi Kawase (Japón), Lav Diaz (Filipinas) y Hong Sang-soo (Corea).
