Los Asian Film Awards son unos premios nacidos al auspicio del Hong Kong Film Festival y que intentan premiar lo mejor del cine asiático del pasado año. Con tan solo 5 años de vida, esta es la sexta edición, ya se han convertido en un interesante escaparate de lo mejor de la producción asiática. Muchas y buenas son las producciones que podemos encontrar este año, destacando en cuanto a nominaciones Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, The Flowers of War y Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale entre las más nominadas.
